    We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Coordinator, Events to support the delivery of high-quality professional learning and events for our members.  


    In this role, you will provide administrative and operational support across a range of onsite activities and 勒貊勛圖-wide events, helping to ensure a seamless and engaging experience.


    This is a full-time position reporting to the Manager, Events. The role offers a steady-paced work environment with limited evening work and no weekend work. You will also have the opportunity to grow your skills within the broader Strategic Communications and Business Development team, contributing to partnerships, marketing and communications, and the delivery of 勒貊勛圖s annual conferences.

    The Junior School is a community of approximately 400 boys and their parents, and over 50 staff.  Being the point of entry for many boys, the Junior School is an integral component of the wider School community.  For this reason, we enjoy the support, facilities and sense of pride evident across the whole School.  Following the completion of an extensive building project, three new learning centres were completed in 2018.  The Lower Junior, Middle Junior and Upper Junior accommodates two streams of classes from Pre-Primary to Year 3 and three streams from Year 4 to Year 6.


    Hale School is seeking applications from 2 enthusiastic and dynamic education professionals for Education Assistant roles in our Junior School in 2026. Our Education Assistants work alongside classroom teachers and learning support staff to implement learning adjustments and provide guidance for students with a diverse range of additional needs.


     Education Assistants work across the three Learning Centres depending on student needs.

    • Maintain a communication diary with the parent/caregiver to be overseen by the classroom teacher.

    • Contribute to Individual Education Plan Meetings to plan and evaluate the students learning goals.

    • Be abreast with current technologies and assist student/ students in using these technologies for the benefit of their learning.

    • Under the guidance of the classroom teacher liaise and plan with outside providers to assist in the development of a student.

    • Supervise small group and individual activities under the direction of the Teacher-in-Charge.

    • Act as a key first point of contact for student and parent enquiries

    This role plays an important part in supporting student engagement in music across the College by coordinating music tuition programs, managing timetables and communication processes, and providing administrative support for ensembles, events, and performances.


     


    Working closely with the Director of Music, instrumental tutors, students, and families, this position is a key point of contact within our school music community.


     


    About the Role


    The Music Administrator will:



    • Manage music tuition administration using COMPASS and related systems

    • Coordinate student enrolments, withdrawals, tutor allocations, and room scheduling

    • Maintain accurate music timetables and support scheduling across programs

    • Respond to parent, student, and tutor enquiries relating to music programs

    • Support reporting processes and maintain accurate records and documentation

    • Provide administrative support for concerts, performances, assessments, and events

    • Assist with administrative tasks across the Music Department and Vocal Academy


     


    Selection Criteria



    • Experience in an administrative role, ideally within a school or educational setting

    • Experience using school management systems such as COMPASS or similar

    • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage complex timetables

    Overview
